Nanny

 

A nanny’s duty is at the discretion of the employer.

The Nannies work is to guide children based on the requests of parents and may have full responsibility to care for the children when principles Travel.

Most nannies will be tasked with preparing meals, assisting in errands, helping with household work (light dishes, kids laundry, etc.)  and tutoring with homework. Nannies are trusted to maintain discretion and protect  children when parents are not present.

Some Responsibilities of a Nanny:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children to play

• Protecting children when in public and creating safe play environments  

• Changing diapers as needed and potty-training, if age-appropriate

• Cleaning and organization of children's laundry and closets  

• Planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children 

• Bathing and dressing children appropriately per activity  

• Arranging playdates and outings for fun activities  

• Creating a balance of indoor and outdoor play 

• Planning educational activities, including arts and crafts  

• Training children for nap-time, bedtime, quiet time and book time  

• Teaching kids to read and write, basic learning skills  

• Driving to and from schools as needed, including assisting with homework  

• Adhering to parental guidelines for screen-time, discipline and schedules  

Qualifications to register as a Nanny candidate

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in your domestic field  

• Educational background & degrees that apply to position  

• Bachelor’s Degree (child development)  

• Impeccable references from 2-3 previous employers  

• Valid Drivers License  

• Proof of Citizenship  

• Clean Driving Record 

• Must pass background check  

• Credit check (depending on job duties)  

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) 

• Comfortable with being legally employed (W2) and paid via Payroll 

• Valid Passport holder & willingness to travel  

• Legal to work in the U.S.  

• Non-Smoker 

• Drug- Free
