We recruit highly qualified Butlers and place them in VIP households. The modern day Butler is a distinguished manager and estate planner.

The butler organizes day to day operations and oversees/performs numerous hands on tasks.

Responsibilities of a Butler and are not limited to:

  • Hosting and greeting principles & guests

  • Serving drinks, foods and taking specialty orders

  • Planning for dinner parties & events

  • Overseeing table settings, polishing silverware and etiquette

  • Managing the wine cellar and hospitality inventory

  • Training new staff members in the areas of hospitality

  • Informing staff of guest arrivals, timing of meals and special occasions

  • Pet care and walks for any dogs or animals

  • Automobile care, inside and out

  • Safe keeping and preservation of antiques

  • Driving and chauffeur responsibilities (personal valet)

 Qualifications to register as a Butler candidate with Kate’s Choice

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in your domestic field

• Educational background & degrees that apply to position

• Impeccable references from 2-3 previous employers

• Valid Drivers License

• Proof of Citizenship

• Clean Driving Record

• Must pass background check

• Credit check (depending on job duties)

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)

• Comfortable with being legally employed (W2) and paid via Payroll

• Valid Passport holder & willingness to travel

• Legal to work in the U.S.

• Non-Smoker

• Drug- Free
